Hemingway's Relampago ("Pago")
Pago is now a year old. He is the son of perhaps the most famous alpaca stud in America, Peruvian Allanzo Hemingway. Pago's testicles are quite large for his age, which indicates he too will make a fine stud. His name comes from the Peruvian word for "lightning". On the day he was born, he was zipping back and forth about the field. Taking pictures of him is difficult, because he won't stay far enough away to get a body shot - he always wants to be close.

Rico Blanco
Rico is only two years old, yet he is already a very striking male. His fleece is long, very fine, and has a nice crimp. He has been handled quite a bit, with regular pettings at every meal. Rico is very curious, and will put his face right up to yours to check you out.
Rico is the offspring of the award-winning Don Julio (NWA) and our own Fortune II. Rico will make an excellent herdsire, and in the meantime, he will be a superb source of very fine quality fiber.

Stella
Stella is three years old, and is the offspring of Cisco Kid, a nationally famous silver fancy sire. She is pregnant by Peruvian Felix, a sire that sired several champions. We have high expectations for her cria.
Stella has excellent conformation and bone mass, perfect bite, and her beautiful mixture of gold and silver fleece makes for exceptional spinning. She has the sweetest disposition, and will snuggle her head under your arm when she is concerned.

Sanchez
Sanchez is a three year old male from the Taylor Ranch near Sisters. We hadn't planned on buying a male at the time, but his bearing, wool coverage, conformation, and coloring was too good to pass up. Although not apparent from the pictures, he is actually dark gray and white. The redddish tint comes from sunburn of the very tips of the wool. Separating the fleece reveals a rich gray underneath.
Sanchez exhibits all the traits of a great gelded male - extensive wool coverage, relatively rare coloration, excellent conformation, and a great attitude.
